Her expertise and professionalism allow her to streamline and follow through on whatever task is at hand.

Chris Hemelrick
Owner and Head of Maintenance Operations

Chris (the husband and skilled handyman of the team) ensures that every property is meticulously maintained. He manages our contractors, subcontractors, and coordinates with all vendors. With over 20 years of experience running a successful lawn care and landscaping business in SEK, Chris is also highly proficient in home maintenance and remodeling. Holding a contractor's license, his experience and skill set combined allow us to offer unmatched services to our clients.

Chris Reed
Maintenance Contractor

Chris Reed, aka, Reed - A lifelong family friend of the Hemelrick family, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to JoyCo. After serving over 20 years in law enforcement, including as a Chief of Police, Reed transitioned to work for the railroad. However, missing time with his family, he made the decision to join JoyCo full-time. As our go-to expert for property remodels, painting, and sheetrock, Chris takes on every task with determination and skill. His background in law enforcement gives him a unique ability to handle sensitive situations, such as tenant evictions, with professionalism and care. He’s also great with tenants and embodies our commitment to quality and respect in all that we do.
